Hello, new friend. My journey to animal rescue and welfare is like your own, unique.  I have been lucky enough to live all over the country, constantly throwing myself out of my familiar surroundings and conditions into uncharted life territory. In the process, I have learning a lot by trying new things, falling flat on my face (or butt! a lot BTW) in failure, picking myself up off the ground and learning the lessons that were put in front of me. In that process I have achieved great and happy little life victories.

I was contently settled in “the Middle” when I began volunteering/rescuing, which has been for about a third of my adult life. I found a place where other people shared the feeling of compassion and love for these abandoned animals and it was like finding the best job ever!
